After reading chapter one of Metamorphosis book by Franz Kafka published in 1915, I understood that he uses a particular character and symbolism. The story in about a salesman who is tired of his way of life and feels very isolated and unwanted in his space. He is comparing himself to a bug who is told to be unwanted, creepy and insignificant. It signifies negativity and vulnerability.
I think every city has a significant relationship the way certain elements of nature are potrayed.
