In this class, we learnt about masking and the different types of masks : layer masks and clipping masks.
We learnt some more basics like the paint bucket tool, background layers, etc.
CLIPPING MASKS :
Clipping masks are masks that allow the straightforward creation of complex images. Clipping masks can help us artfully merge layers so that the resulting graphic looks sleek.
The simplest use of a clipping mask is to combine two layers into one. The top layer will have a shape that’s different from the bottom image that you want to merge it with. By selecting a portion of the bottom layer to use as the mask, you can make it look like one image is inside another one.
LAYER MASKS(OPACITY MASKS) :
A layer mask is something we can add to a layer that allows us to control the transparency of that layer.
After this we made different edits to explore clipping mask and opacity mask.
