We started off this class by talking about what research is? I think research is a systematic study to be able to find an answer to a gap in a particular domain. It is about gaining knowledge(knowing more about something and doing an in-depth study of a particular topic.
People usually don’t understand the difference between a research and gathering information. Although, research is not a mere gathering of information. It begins with a research objective or purpose. Personal knowledge gap that commonly exists does not make a research.
After this, we were given an exercise to make survey/interview questions on any particular domain that is for a particular age group/sector/community of the society.
