In this class, we were expected to get a clearer idea of what topic to choose for our zine and start making thumbnails. We were expected to start making a digital prototype once our thumbnails were ready.
When I started making the thumbnails, I realised that the illustrations that I had drawn didn’t show the meaning of my pun visually.I found it very difficult to show the essence of my puns visually.
Because I wasn’t very happy with my topic, I decided to change it to a light topic that showed love and affection and was very close to my heart. I decided to make a zine on ‘little things dads do’. I spoke to sir about my idea and he loved it.
Here are some of the little things I’ve put in my zine :
- Compromising his sleep
- Picking me up and dropping me
- Guiding me
- Mentally supporting me
- Spending time with me
- Showing physical affection
