In this class we understood the difference between experience and memory. I think memory is something one remembers whereas experience is something that is felt. Memory is a more recorded experience. Memory is the information created to store, it is the base of an experience. It is created to identify the future situation in which an experience can be felt. It is important to know how to design an experience which is by sensing it and manipulating it by changing its parameters.
After showing our narratives to sir, he rejected some pictures. The next step was to create a video with the remaining pictures and finding found footage and royalty free music. Sound was a very important element of this project as sound is an experience and it can change one’s experience.

After this sir made us listen to some songs. We heard duel of the fates, enter sandman, marooned, children, the riddle and the Valkyrie.

The Great Gig in the Sky is a song by Pink Floyd. It is about after you die, and what you think about before you die. ‘The great gig in the sky’ means heaven, and how even when you die, you still have music to play.
What is foley?
Foley is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to films, videos, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality. These reproduced sounds are anything from the swishing of clothing and footsteps to squeaky doors and breaking glass.
Atmospherics – Atmospherics is the art of using objects, materials, textures, colours, etc to create a certain kind of atmosphere.
