This week I focused on making my final video. Keeping the sequence same, I just added two videos in the end. I used video editor for my final video. The main purpose of making this video was to create a light fun-filled video. The theme that I used for my video was ‘adventurous’ which perfectly went with my narrative. I put various transitions and effects to make my video as effective as possible. now the main task was to bring that fun in the sound too. For this I decided to go for a lively yet soft background music. After putting a common background music, I put different sounds for my videos and pictures as well. The main purpose of adding these individual sounds to the pictures also was to communicate my narrative for effectively. I added various sounds like that of traffic. trains moving, speed, people laughing, waterfalls, sounds that depict shock and surprises. The sounds that I took were from royalty free music sites and were very small in terms in time because of which my picture duration was also reducing. At first I didn’t understand why my video suddenly changed from 1:30 seconds to less than a minute. After struggling on this small thing for about an hour, I realized my mistake. To rectify this error, I decided to add the same sounds to the same pictures/videos twice. To show the element or shock, I added a sudden scream after a low music to make it more effective. To make my entire story more catchy, I added a video of a waterfall, just to exaggerate the entire narrative. In this video my background music and the audio of the videos/pictures were all going hand-in-hand together. Where the audio was more necessary, I reduced the sound of the background music and where there was no background music, I kept it normal. This was a major problem that i successfully fixed in my final video.
