This was our review week. I was very excited to know people’s reaction to my video, more importantly I wanted to know if i was able to convey my concept to them. In this class sir as well as our classmates graded us for the final video. It was like a peer review to know if we were able to convey our concept. All of us gave our opinions in the peer review after which sir gave his review.
One main thing that I completely forgot about my video was that some of my pictures and videos were in landscape and some were portrait. Many people found this a little distracting and disturbing while watching the video. I found the same problem in some other videos also. The second thing was the sound of shock in my video which was very sudden after the soft music so my classmates found it a little disturbing. The other feedback I got was for my transitions, sir suggested that I could work more on some of my transitions. However, I was able to successfully convey my story and bring the funny aspect in my video.
There were some videos that were very very inspiring in terms of the way it was composed, the sounds used and the transitions. After watching everyone’s video I realized that transitions and sounds can either make an amazing video or ruin it. There were some abstract elements that people took as their narrative and the way they put it up was extremely inspiring. After looking at other videos i understood what other elements could be added in my video.
