This was our review week and we had a peer review as well as a faculty review.
For my model there were a few things that I realised could be worked upon. One was the layers. I could have kept my last two layers first. Second was obviously the measurements. Till I had made the layers everything was fine but while making the box I got very confused and ended up making a smaller box because of which I had to cut my margins. After cutting the margins, sticking everything together was a very hard job. Measurements was something that I should’ve taken care of considering that I’m not very good at measurements and technicality.
Some of the classmates had done a great job in putting everything together. Some of them had kept a margin only where it was required. Overall this project was fun. The ideation for me took a longer time as compared to others but after I got it the cutting was pretty easy. In the start my fingers were paining a lot so I thought that I might not holding the exacto knife properly but after completing the prototype, cutting the final model was like a cakewalk.
