This week was the final submission of our imaginary city essays. We presented our test prints to the faculty for a one on one review. She marked us on the basis of our essays taking into consideration the the creative aspect, clarity, the correct usage of grammar and the writing styles.
I am not very fond of writing but I found this entire project of reimagining our cities and being able to put it in our words by writing detailed stories about it pretty interesting. It was surely a challenging and frustrating process as there was a lot of brainstorming needed to be able to deliver the perfect ideas of our cities on paper in a short yet crisp and understandable manner. It helped me build on my communication skills as well as there was a lot of self expression and self confidence that was required while doing the entire process. The best part about this project was that it encouraged me to use my imagination to write these essays.
